About The Position

The PowerBuilder Developer will design, develop, and validate the complete front end of CATS. The developer will work closely with the Court’s Technical Business Analysts, application developers, database administrators, data migration resources, QA/testing teams, and business subject matter experts. The role requires strong experience with PowerBuilder objects, object-oriented programming (OOP), PFC, and SQL Server.

Requirements

• 10+ years of PowerBuilder experience.
• Strong experience with PowerBuilder objects, object-oriented programming, PFC, and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Develop a framework on top of PFC.
• Analyze the PowerBuilder objects of the application being migrated to CATS and incorporate those objects into CATS.
• Write technical documentation for the CATS design, the operation of PowerBuilder objects, and functional implementation.
• Use object-oriented programming to develop CATS.
• Develop PowerBuilder objects that connect to SQL Server.
• Perform peer code reviews.
• Perform unit testing before handing work over to QA.
