Technical Analyst IV - Systems Integration

About The Position

The Technical Analyst IV joins the Systems Integration team to help shape enterprise API integration and deliver API capabilities as reliable, customer-centric products. The role partners closely with business, product, and engineering teams to translate business and technical needs into clear requirements and delivered API products, while improving API design, security, adoption, and integration reliability. The position also supports developer-friendly documentation and self-service, applies enterprise standards and service-oriented policies, and helps teams navigate dependencies and tradeoffs across value, experience, architecture, risk, and delivery speed. The analyst facilitates discovery and refinement, keeps delivery knowledge current and reusable as requirements and decisions evolve, and validates requirements and solution behavior throughout the delivery lifecycle. The role uses AI and agents to accelerate analysis and delivery, while applying independent judgment to validate outputs, challenge assumptions, and identify risks. It also includes mentoring fellow analysts and advancing modern, AI-enabled ways of working.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, and 5+ years of directly related experience in Technical Analysis, Data Analytics, or Bank Operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated business and technical analysis experience, including translating complex needs into functional requirements, business rules, user stories, acceptance criteria, process and data flows, and solution documentation.
Hands-on experience with APIs and integrations, including interpreting API specifications, request/response payloads, status codes, error messages, and integration behaviors.
Experience with source-to-target data mapping, transformations, validation rules, and data requirements across integrated systems.
Experience troubleshooting integrations, identifying root causes and dependencies, and working with engineering teams, external vendors, and partner teams to resolve issues.
Demonstrated experience using generative AI or AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis, research, documentation, requirements development, or problem solving, while validating outputs and applying independent judgment.
Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills, including the ability to break down ambiguity, ask effective questions, uncover assumptions and gaps, and translate complexity into clear requirements and outcomes.
Strong systems thinking and the ability to understand business processes, APIs, applications, data flows, and dependencies, and assess the broader impact of changes.
Ability to create clear, structured, traceable context connecting business needs, requirements, rules, decisions, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
Ability to learn new business domains and technologies quickly, work through uncertainty, collaborate across product and engineering, and take ownership of outcomes.

Responsibilities

Partner with lines of business and engineering teams to accelerate enterprise API adoption across applications and platforms.
Collaborate across Agile teams and stakeholders to move API capabilities from discovery through release, aligned with roadmap priorities.
Analyze cross-system dependencies, identify integration gaps early, and support reliable integration across environments.
Apply enterprise standards, architecture methodology, and service-oriented policies to support consistent and scalable API governance.
Support developer-friendly experiences that make API documentation discoverable and enable self-service integration.
Partner with the Technical Product Owner and other Technical Analysts to shape and deliver API capabilities aligned with product priorities and outcomes.
Translate business and technical needs into requirements, business rules, API behaviors, dependencies, user stories, and acceptance criteria that provide clear context for teams and AI-assisted delivery.
Facilitate discovery and refinement to clarify solution intent, expose ambiguity, and align teams before development begins.
Analyze API, system, and data dependencies and help teams evaluate tradeoffs involving value, experience, architecture, risk, and delivery speed.
Partner with product and engineering teams to validate requirements and solution behavior throughout the delivery lifecycle, from discovery through release.
Keep delivery knowledge traceable, current, and reusable as requirements, decisions, and solutions evolve.
Mentor other analysts and help advance AI-enabled ways of working across the team.
