About The Position

VAST Data is seeking an experienced, technically oriented Technical Alliances Marketing Manager to define, articulate, and showcase joint technology solutions and value propositions for the VAST AI Operating System integrated with strategic technology alliance partners. The role creates technical marketing content, documentation, and enablement materials that explain the combined strengths of VAST and its partners to enterprise customers addressing complex infrastructure challenges and accelerating AI adoption through validated, integrated solutions. The manager works across VAST Product Management and Engineering and partner organizations to develop joint-solution messaging, technical resources, and field enablement. The position also provides technical support for alliance go-to-market activities, sales engagements, customer discussions, and industry events. It contributes customer and market insights to product roadmap discussions and represents VAST’s joint technology solutions as a subject matter expert and thought leader.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in technical marketing, solution architecture, technical pre-sales, or product marketing, emphasizing technical content and documentation in enterprise IT infrastructure, data storage, or related fields.
Deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure architectures, virtualization, containers, file/object storage solutions, and their integration into broader technology ecosystems.
Familiarity with modern AI/ML data pipelines and analytics workloads and their implications for enterprise infrastructure.
Strong expertise in aligning complex joint technical solutions with business-driven enterprise objectives.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to technical and business audiences in enterprise settings.
Demonstrated success developing and executing technical marketing strategies and creating high-quality technical content such as reference architectures, whitepapers, and solution guides.
Highly collaborative, with a proactive approach to managing cross-functional projects involving internal teams and external technology partners.
Willingness to travel for customer engagements, industry events, and internal meetings.

Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with creating reference architectures and validating joint solutions.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with VAST Product Management, Engineering, and technology alliance partners to define the technical differentiators and value proposition of integrated solutions.
Develop differentiated technical messaging and positioning that communicates joint solutions’ architectural advantages, performance benefits, and integration capabilities to technical enterprise audiences.
Analyze enterprise infrastructure landscapes and partner ecosystems to identify integration points and explain the benefits of VAST AI Operating System joint configurations.
Create and maintain technical marketing materials for joint solutions, including reference architectures, solution briefs, technical whitepapers, best-practice guides, deployment guides, and product demonstrations.
Translate complex technical features of VAST and partner technologies into clear, actionable information for technical evaluators and enterprise users.
Create blogs, FAQs, and partner-portal content for technical enterprise communities.
Serve as a technical subject matter expert on joint alliance solutions for VAST Sales, Sales Engineering, and partner technical teams.
Develop and deliver technical training materials and presentations for VAST and partner field organizations.
Explain how the VAST AI Operating System integrates with broader enterprise architectures, including areas such as virtual machines, containers, unified file and object storage, data protection, compliance, and security.
Work with Product Management and Engineering to inform product roadmaps based on enterprise customer requirements and market insights related to technology integrations.
Provide technical expertise and content for joint marketing campaigns and go-to-market initiatives led by Alliance Management and demand generation teams.
Support sales teams and partners with technical responses to enterprise RFPs and detailed technical inquiries about joint solutions.
Engage enterprise customers and partners to gather technical insights, validate joint-solution positioning, and foster advocacy.
Represent VAST’s joint technology solutions at industry events, panels, and webinars focused on enterprise infrastructure and AI.
