Tech Operations IT Specialist - Remote - Hungary

The TechOps Specialist role involves providing support in maintaining data integrity, addressing technical challenges, and enhancing communication between technical and non-technical departments. The responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving software issues, providing technical assistance, updating data, and generating reports. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, proactive identification of discrepancies, and implementing measures to rectify inconsistencies. The TechOps Specialist will serve as the guardian of data accuracy and should have experience in technical support or software development roles, as well as proficiency in diagnosing and resolving basic technical problems.

Preserving the accuracy and reliability of data

Performing routine maintenance tasks

Addressing technical challenges within systems

Enhancing communication between technical and non-technical departments

Diagnosing and resolving software issues

Providing diverse forms of technical assistance across all departments

Updating data and tackling minor coding tasks

Extracting precise information for generating reports

Identifying and addressing technical issues through diagnostics and troubleshooting

Creating accurate and timely reports

Communicating discovered bugs and errors to development teams

Demonstrating self-initiation and adeptly reorganizing tasks to address high-priority issues

Documenting technical knowledge in the form of comprehensive notes and manuals

Serving as the primary point of contact for executing change requests, triaging bugs, and providing consistent administrative support for Kustomer, the guest-facing CRM system

Maintaining availability for on-call shifts on weekends and/or holidays

• Proven professional experience in a Technical Support Role or as a Software Developer for a minimum of 1 year
• Fundamental knowledge of AWS, HTML/CSS, Javascript, MongoDB/SQL, and Github
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving basic technical problems
• Strong grasp of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technological products
• Capability to provide clear, step-by-step technical assistance, both in written and verbal forms
• Exceptional attention to detail and highly developed organizational skills
• Fluent English proficiency
• Serve as the primary point of contact for executing change requests, triaging bugs, and providing consistent administrative support for Kustomer, our guest-facing CRM system
