enGB Linguistic QA Tester

About The Position

The Tech Linguistic Tester 1 primarily proofreads and edits content that has already been localized into the tester’s native language, identifying errors in grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, capitalization, political correctness, consistency, and spacing. The role may also involve translating content from English into the native language and checking user interfaces for functional issues. The tester evaluates translations in the context of software, mobile applications, and documentation; tests products by following instructions and test cases; and reports defects through internal and client-specific tracking tools. The role requires attention to project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides, checklists, and glossaries, as well as researching and resolving linguistic questions.
