About The Position

The Tech 2 performs intermediate laboratory tasks, including sample analysis, equipment calibration, and data interpretation. The role works independently on assigned projects and collaborates with other team members to complete laboratory tasks accurately and on time while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment operation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to participate in meetings across various time zones outside core working hours.
• Occasionally work extended hours to meet client deliverable timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample analysis using various laboratory techniques.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Interpret data and generate reports.
• Collaborate with team members on research projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Assist in developing and optimizing laboratory protocols.
• Provide guidance and support to Tech 1 personnel.
• Perform activities involving microbiology plating, water testing, empty container testing, total solids, vacuum moisture, ash, Mojo Prep, distillation, TKN, Charm, and other assigned tasks.
