About The Position

The Maintenance Tech 2 works on the hotel engineering team to keep equipment in good working order through routine repairs and preventative maintenance. The role also assists the Chief Engineer and other team members with building and grounds maintenance, helps maintain a safe environment for guests and hotel staff, and provides courteous service to guests. The technician may assist other departments when needed and must be knowledgeable about emergency procedures and Job Safety Analysis guides.

Responsibilities

• Keep equipment in good working order through routine repairs and preventative maintenance checks.
• Assist the Chief Engineer and other team members with building and grounds maintenance.
• Help provide a safe environment for guests and hotel staff by meeting safety standards.
• Provide professional, courteous service to guests and accommodate various requests.
• Assist other departments when help is needed.
• Know all emergency procedures and be aware of Job Safety Analysis guides.
