About The Position

The Maintenance Tech 2 joins the Engineering team and helps ensure hotel equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently. The role assists with preventive maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the property’s facilities, supporting a safe and comfortable environment for guests and team members. The position also includes assisting the Chief Engineer with building and grounds projects, responding professionally to guest maintenance requests, supporting other departments as needed, and following emergency and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in general maintenance, facility repair, or a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
• Reliability, a team-oriented approach, customer focus, and a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to keep equipment and facilities in top condition.
• Assist the Chief Engineer with building and grounds projects.
• Conduct preventive maintenance checks and maintain safety standards.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and maintenance issues.
