About The Position

A Team Member prepares and presents Auntie Anne’s and/or Cinnabon products to guests and maintains store premises and equipment in accordance with Fresh Dining Concepts, LLC standards. The role includes food preparation and baking, guest service and order taking, point-of-sale operation, opening and closing tasks, cleaning, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Requirements

0–1 years of food-service industry experience or equivalent retail experience.
Current food-handler certification, or ability to obtain it within the first 30 days when required by local law.
Basic math and reading skills.
Ability to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions in English and request clarification when needed.
Strong guest focus and people skills, a positive can-do attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
Availability to work shifts.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
Compliance with health and sanitation laws and regulations.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods; walk, squat, and bend; and perform repetitive, constant hand and arm motions.
Ability to lift more than 50 pounds and work with agility in a fast-paced, highly stressed environment.
Ability to write simple correspondence in English and communicate effectively in English with guests and employees in one-on-one or small-group settings for safety and communication.
Ability to test products by taste, color, and smell.
Minimum age to operate the oven is 16; 16-year-olds may not use the freight elevator.
Minimum age to operate the mixer is 18.

Nice To Haves

Experience with computers, smartphones, iPads, retail handhelds, and POS systems.
General knowledge and understanding of the food industry or retail operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare dough and other products, including lemonade, butter, dips, Cinnabons, and yogurt.
Roll, twist, dip, shape, bake, and bag pretzels, Cinnabons, and yogurt.
Prepare specialty pretzels or other brand products for Cinnabon.
Insert, rotate, and remove product trays, and monitor ovens for baking time and product color.
Dip, drain, and fill products in the warmer or on the hot plate.
Prepare drinks and bag orders while following health and safety measures.
Greet, host, and serve guests; take orders and provide samples.
Maintain a friendly and courteous attitude toward guests and co-workers.
Suggest and upsell products professionally to support company profitability and check average.
Operate the point-of-sale system efficiently, minimize voids, and make change accurately.
Set up equipment, utensils, and supplies for opening.
Break down, clean, and put away equipment, utensils, and supplies at closing.
Perform cleaning and maintenance as directed by the team member in charge of the shift.
Follow uniform, hygiene, and appearance standards.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
Comply with company policies and procedures and applicable federal and state regulations.
