About The Position

A Team Member prepares and presents Auntie Anne’s and/or Cinnabon products for guests and maintains store premises and equipment in accordance with Fresh Dining Concepts, LLC standards. The role includes preparing dough, drinks, and other products; making, baking, finishing, and packaging pretzels and related products; serving guests and processing orders; and carrying out opening, closing, cleaning, and maintenance tasks. Team Members are expected to follow company policies, food-safety and sanitation requirements, uniform and appearance standards, and applicable regulations. The position requires regular attendance, guest-focused service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

0–1 years of experience in food service or equivalent retail experience.
Current food handler certification, or ability to obtain certification within the first 30 days where required by local law.
Basic math and reading skills.
Ability to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions in English and request clarification when needed.
Strong guest focus and people skills, a positive can-do attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
Availability to work shifts.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods, walk, squat, bend, and perform repetitive, constant hand and arm motions.
Ability to lift more than 50 pounds and work with agility in a fast-paced, highly stressful environment.
Ability to write simple correspondence in English and communicate effectively in English in one-on-one or small-group settings for safety and communication.
Ability to evaluate products by taste, color, and smell.
Minimum age to operate an oven is 16; a 16-year-old employee may not use the freight elevator.
Minimum age to operate a mixer is 18.

Nice To Haves

Experience using computers, smartphones, iPads, retail handheld devices, and POS systems.
General knowledge and understanding of the food industry or retail operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare dough and other products, including lemonade, butter, dips, Cinnabons, and yogurt.
Roll, twist, dip, shape, bake, and bag pretzels, Cinnabons, and yogurt.
Prepare specialty pretzels or other brand products for Cinnabon.
Insert, rotate, and remove product trays, and monitor ovens for correct baking time and product color.
Dip, drain, and fill products in the warmer or on the hot plate.
Prepare drinks and bag orders while following appropriate health and safety measures.
Greet, host, and serve guests courteously, take orders, and provide product samples.
Professionally suggest and upsell products to increase profitability and average check size.
Operate the point-of-sale system efficiently, minimize voids, and accurately make change.
Set up equipment, utensils, and supplies for opening; break down, clean, and put them away at closing.
Perform cleaning and maintenance procedures as directed by the team member in charge of the shift.
Comply with uniform, hygiene, and appearance standards.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
Follow company policies and procedures and applicable federal and state regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
Comply with health and sanitation laws and regulations.
