About The Position

As a Team Member at 7 Leaves Café, you represent the company by cultivating an excellent customer experience. The role focuses on providing extraordinary service, preparing consistent, high-quality beverages, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment. The position starts at 10–15 hours per week, with the possibility of earning additional hours based on performance. The role is on-site in Artesia, California, and pays $18.00–$19.50 per hour.

Requirements

Must be able to regularly lift at least 45 pounds.
Availability on at least one weekend day, Saturday or Sunday, is required.
Ability to work collaboratively to meet store needs and goals.
Well-organized, self-motivated, and positive team attitude.
Proficiency in basic math skills.
Flexibility to perform different tasks within the store during each shift.
Ability to learn quickly, follow oral and written instructions, and request clarification when needed.
Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and management.
Ability to interact productively with coworkers to meet store goals.

Responsibilities

Serve customers and the community empathetically, using clear communication to understand their needs.
Accurately process cash and card transactions.
Prepare high-quality products consistently and according to company recipes and customer needs.
Follow instructions and seek clarification when needed.
Follow safety policies and procedures, including security, equipment handling, and first-in, first-out practices.
Arrive at the prescribed time for scheduled shifts and fulfill job requirements for the duration of each shift.
Communicate effectively and proactively with management and team members.
Complete work-related tasks assigned by a supervisor.
Develop familiarity with drink recipes and ratios, including measurements used in cup design.
Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.
