About The Position

The Part Time Seasonal Team Member works in a public retail store in Yuma, Arizona, providing friendly customer service and helping customers locate products and find solutions. The role includes delivering a fast, friendly checkout, supporting store merchandising and inventory, and maintaining store recovery standards. Team Members may assist with online order fulfillment, truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and custom framing sales and production. The role requires following company procedures, policies, safety and shrink programs, and applicable laws. Michaels requires Team Members in this role to be at least 16 years old.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Meet applicable federal, state, and local legal requirements for the job.
Ability to remain standing for long periods and move throughout the store.
Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly.
Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.

Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Help customers shop, locate products, and find solutions.
Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and handle cash according to standards.
Promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Educate customers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
Assist with omnichannel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including returns and general store recovery, to help maintain a well-merchandised and in-stock store.
Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company programs, policies, and standards to maintain compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
Interact respectfully and positively with others, promote the organization’s vision and values, and serve as a role model for other Team Members.
Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production.
Perform other duties as assigned.
