About The Position

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee and Chicago is hiring Team Members for production, donation attendant, sales floor associate, and cashier duties. Team Members support Goodwill’s mission of helping people with barriers to employment and contribute to a positive customer and donor experience.

Production Associates price donated items according to pricing guidelines and goals, helping maximize funds for Goodwill’s mission and maintain an efficient flow of donations. Donation Attendants greet and thank donors, accept donations, sort items, and keep the production area organized. Sales Floor Associates organize merchandise, help customers find items, answer questions, and provide outstanding service. Cashiers build relationships with customers, accurately process transactions, and explain how purchases support Goodwill’s mission.

The starting rate is $15.00 per hour. Goodwill describes opportunities for cross-training, advancement, and specialized training and development. Flexible scheduling is offered, and the position does not require extended hours during the holiday season.

Requirements

• One year of customer service, retail, or production experience is preferred.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift while maintaining a customer service mindset.
• Donation Attendants must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds and maintain customer service standards when interacting with donors.
