About The Position

The Team Manager is part of the bakery-cafe leadership team, helping run effective shifts, support team development, and maintain the standards guests expect. The role focuses on guest satisfaction, team coaching and development, food safety, and fostering a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust. The position is based in Lockport, New York, and requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Any job offer is conditional upon the results of a background check.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Demonstrated ability to lead shifts and direct, motivate, coach, and develop others in a fast-paced environment.
ServSafe certification, or the ability to achieve certification.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 6 hours.
Ability to communicate clearly and quickly understand guests’ and associates’ directions in a loud environment.
Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of restaurant management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure guests are delighted by the quality of food, service, and staff.
Build engaging relationships that lead to long-term, loyal guests.
Lead, manage, and develop team members through coaching, inspiration, and motivation to achieve goals in sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest experience; celebrate their achievements.
Participate in interviewing and selecting team members.
Train the team in food safety standards and ensure those standards are maintained.
Help build a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.
