About The Position

As a Team Manager at Panera, you’ll be part of the bakery-cafe’s leadership team, helping run great shifts, support team development, and maintain the high standards guests expect. You’ll help create a welcoming culture and ensure guests receive quality food and service. The role requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Any job offer is conditional upon the results of a background check.

Requirements

Minimum age of 18.
Proven ability to lead shifts while directing, motivating, coaching, and developing others in a fast-paced environment.
ServSafe certification or ability to achieve certification.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing 25 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 6 hours.
Ability to clearly communicate and quickly understand guests’ and associates’ directions in a loud environment.

Nice To Haves

1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure guests are delighted by the quality of food, service, and staff.
Build engaging relationships that lead to long-term, loyal guests.
Lead, manage, and develop team members by coaching, inspiring, and motivating them to exceed goals in sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest experience; celebrate their achievements.
Participate in interviewing and selecting team members.
Train the team in food safety standards and ensure those standards are maintained.
Help build a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.
