About The Position
The Team Leader I leads other team leaders and assists in managing operational issues to ensure effective and efficient product flow. The role supports manufacturing operations through Lean activities, employee safety and quality oversight, work scheduling, troubleshooting, and coaching. This position is performed on-site five days a week and is designated as safety sensitive.
Requirements
- Ability to lead others and influence behavior.

- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Completion of TLDP.
- Experience influencing others.
- Knowledge and application of Lean Principles.
- Willingness to learn.

- Experience as a Team Leader.
Responsibilities
- Lead MDI board meetings and other Lean-related activities.
- Assign work schedules and coordinate overtime.
- Ensure employee safety and adherence to EHS requirements.
- Monitor product and work quality.
- Troubleshoot simple machine, process, product, or employee issues.
- Lead and train team leaders, providing feedback and coaching.
- Communicate frequently with team members, supervisors, other departments, and plant leaders.
- Coach other team leaders.
