About The Position

The Team Leader I leads other team leaders and assists in managing operational issues to ensure effective and efficient product flow. The role leads Lean-related activities, coordinates work schedules and overtime, supports employee safety and product quality, and troubleshoots routine operational issues. It also includes training, coaching, and communicating with team members, supervisors, departments, and plant leaders. This is an on-site position, five days per week, and is designated as safety sensitive.

Completion of TLDP.
Experience influencing others.
Knowledge and application of Lean Principles.

Responsibilities

Lead MDI board meetings and other Lean-related activities.
Assign work schedules and coordinate overtime.
Ensure employee safety and adherence to EHS requirements.
Monitor product and work quality.
Troubleshoot simple machines, processes, products, or employee issues.
Lead and train team leaders, providing feedback and coaching.
Communicate frequently with team members, supervisors, other departments, and plant leaders.
Coach other team leaders.
