About The Position

The Team Lead promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, and spends at least 50% of the weekly schedule on classroom instruction. The role builds relationships with families to support children's achievement and the center's success. The Team Lead is responsible for or assists with managing, training, and mentoring new hires and fellow Teachers, and creates interactive learning experiences for preschool children. In the absence of the Director or Assistant Director, the Team Lead takes on their duties, including opening and closing the school. The role ensures children's daily care by following licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Nice To Haves

• College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a CDA.
