About The Position

This is more than a daycare job: it is an opportunity to learn, grow, thrive, and play while helping children become lifelong learners. The Team Lead promotes children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth; leads classroom management and curriculum implementation; and spends at least 50% of the weekly schedule on classroom instruction. The role also builds relationships with families, helps manage and mentor new hires and fellow Teachers, and creates interactive learning experiences for preschool children. The Team Lead may take on Director or Assistant Director duties in their absence, including opening and closing the school, and ensures children receive daily care in accordance with licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Have experience leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• Be able to meet applicable state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Nice To Haves

• College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.
