About The Position

The Team Lead is responsible for, or assists with, managing, training, and mentoring newly hired and existing employees. The role supports directors in daily school operations and helps ensure children receive daily care in accordance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Team Lead creates interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow teachers, communicates with parents and prospective parents, and may assume Director or Assistant Director duties during their absence, including opening and closing the school.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state education requirements; additional center or school requirements may apply.
• Experience coaching and training staff members.
• Associate degree in early childhood education or child development, or a CDA.
• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and creating educational lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Mentor fellow teachers while supporting directors in daily school operations.
• Assume the duties of the Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and implementing company standards.
• Create fun and interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents to support success for the child.
• Manage, train, or assist with training and mentoring newly hired and existing employees.
