About The Position

La La Land Kind Cafe is a coffee shop focused on spreading kindness, positivity, and inclusivity by creating a welcoming environment and providing exceptional service. The Team Lead oversees daily operations during assigned shifts, manages team members, maintains customer-service standards, and ensures compliance with company policies. The role requires physical stamina and involves extended periods of standing, bending, and walking in a fast-paced environment. Scheduling flexibility, including weekends and holidays, may be required.

Requirements

Previous experience in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
Positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
Flexibility to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends.
Food handler certification.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate team members to ensure efficient shift operations.
Monitor employee performance and provide coaching or feedback to improve productivity.
Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking supplies.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Complete administrative tasks accurately.
Train new employees and provide ongoing support to existing team members.
Collaborate with management to achieve company goals and improve operations.
Assist with scheduling and workforce planning to ensure adequate coverage.
Support marketing and promotional activities as needed.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Act as a liaison between team members and upper management to communicate concerns or suggestions.
