About The Position
Paradies Lagardère is hiring a Team Lead for its Jimmy John's concept at Asheville Airport. The role is in an airport dining environment and focuses on welcoming guests, taking and processing food and drink orders, handling payments, and providing knowledgeable recommendations. Employees are expected to help deliver first-class experiences for travelers while following company cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures and maintaining high safety and health standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet and acknowledge guests, and take their food and drink orders within 30 seconds of their arrival.
- Accurately total orders and process and collect guest payments using the point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash and credit or debit card transactions and make change in compliance with company Cash Handling and Loss Prevention Standard Operating Procedures.
- Learn the restaurant's menu and products and make recommendations suited to guests' needs, including answering questions about potential food allergens.
- Help provide a comfortable environment for customers by upholding safety and health standards.
