About The Position

SRI Healthcare, LLC, a subsidiary of NOVO Health Services, provides reusable sterile packs and sustainable healthcare linens to hospitals. Its regional facilities process, assemble, and deliver reusable products, including products used in surgery. The company emphasizes safety, infection control, sustainability, and continuous improvement. The Team Lead Shipping works at SRI Healthcare’s Chattanooga, Tennessee healthcare laundry facility. This role coordinates and performs shipping and inventory activities, supports the Distribution Supervisor or Manager, trains new shippers, and helps ensure customer orders are accurate and complete. The position may also involve delivering products to customers using a vehicle requiring a CDL A or B license.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Flexibility and a positive response to changes in job duties and challenges.
Attentiveness, ability to concentrate, self-starting ability, follow-up, and decision-making skills.
Ability to follow directions and procedures accurately and report issues to the manager.
Detail orientation and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Good oral and written communication skills, including legible handwriting.
Ability to work as a team player and work a flexible schedule if required.

Responsibilities

Move or direct the movement of products into and out of designated staging locations.
Pull and pack customer orders, generate packing slips, move clean carts, shelve products, and move skids of disposable products.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Assist the Distribution Supervisor or Manager with department duties.
Participate in physical inventory activities, including cycle counts, as directed.
Maintain accurate inventory counts and shipping records.
Train new shippers.
Handle changes and inquiries in the computer system.
Check shippers’ work to ensure orders are correct and complete.
Receive products from incoming vendors and delivery agents.
Deliver products to customers when required, using a vehicle that requires a CDL A or B license.
Operate a forklift.
Use a computer for data entry and other assigned duties.
