About The Position

The Warehouse Team Lead provides guidance and direct feedback to Shipping team members and focuses on quality assurance for incoming products and outgoing orders. The role ensures proper processes are followed and errors are addressed promptly, assists with training employees, and supports upkeep of the Distribution Center. This is a full-time, non-exempt position scheduled Thursday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., at $21.89 per hour. The work takes place entirely in a warehouse, with conditions ranging from warm to cool and moderate noise from machinery. The employee works in a high-volume, high-demand environment with strenuous customer deadlines and may need to adjust priorities or duties and interact with employees at all levels. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to read and speak English.
Must have reliable transportation.
Ability to follow detailed instructions.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
Comfort using electronic devices.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Basic math skills, including counting, adding, and subtracting quickly and accurately.
Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels, and SKU information.
Must be flexible if start or departure times change.
Ability to work overtime when needed.
Ability to work independently without close supervision.
Must be able to stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift.
Frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling items with hands and arms, up to 50 pounds.
Moderate hand-eye coordination, near and far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and hearing.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the leadership team on process improvements and provide support throughout the Distribution Center.
Keep quality-assurance databases current, including the Incoming Inspection Database, Final Inspection Data, and Scrap Report.
Run, analyze, and follow through on daily and weekly reports.
Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Quality Inspector under the guidance of the QA Manager, and lead the Quality Assurance Team.
Keep attendance records and manage and organize schedules and rotating assignments.
Monitor customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping to ensure company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity are met.
Operate required machinery in specified departments, which may include cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock chasers.
Meet key performance indicators for safety, quality, production, and efficiency.
Report and record discrepancies, damaged items, shortages, and unidentified packages.
Maintain required process and procedure audits.
Train in customer service duties as required.
Monitor and train new hires to support productivity and quality.
Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the Distribution Center.
Follow standard operating procedures, safety rules, and regulations.
Act professionally and remain focused on contributing to a safe work environment.
Perform other assigned duties and be willing to cross-train.
