About The Position

Parts Authority is a national distributor of automotive replacement parts, tools, equipment, and transmissions. The Shipping Team Lead supports the department supervisor with daily planning and guides team members in completing internet shipping mandates efficiently and on time. The role handles department demands, deadlines, administrative duties, troubleshooting, and problem solving. The position also directs the internet order process from picking and sorting through packing and processing to meet customer deadlines.

Requirements

• Two to three years of supervisory or team lead experience with direct reports.
• E-commerce shipping or receiving experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and operate materials-handling equipment, including fork trucks and pallet jacks.
• Ability to maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Ability to secure and transfer cash or other assets.

• Spanish language skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee internet order picking, sorting, packing, and processing to meet customer deadlines.
• Assist picking supervisors in navigating and prioritizing orders.
• Monitor systems and emails frequently to support customer satisfaction.
• Keep work areas clean and clear of safety hazards.
• Handle department demands, deadlines, administrative duties, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
