About The Position

Creative Safety Supply is seeking a hands-on Shipping & Receiving Team Lead to oversee day-to-day operations of the Shipping & Receiving team. The role works closely with the Warehouse Manager to keep orders moving accurately and efficiently. Creative Safety Supply manufactures and distributes OSHA-compliant labels, signs, floor markings, and visual safety solutions to organizations across North America, guided by the values Customers First, Creative Thinking, and Continuous Improvement. The position coordinates team workloads, provides daily direction, trains employees, processes domestic and international shipments, verifies incoming shipments, and supports inventory accuracy and warehouse safety. It also collaborates with Packaging and other warehouse teams, assists with onboarding, and participates in safety initiatives as needed. This is a full-time, on-site position in Beaverton, Oregon, scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Pay is $25.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

At least 3 years of warehouse experience.
At least 1 year of lead or leadership experience.
Previous shipping and receiving experience.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort using computers, shipping systems, and handheld scanners.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while providing direction and support to a team.
Ability to stand and move throughout the workday.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment as required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
OSHA 30 General Industry training preferred, or ability to complete the training within 90 days of hire; company-paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily orders, priorities, and workloads for the Shipping & Receiving team.
Provide day-to-day direction and support to team members.
Train employees on shipping processes, equipment, safety practices, and company procedures.
Review outgoing orders for accuracy, quality, and proper documentation.
Prepare and process domestic and international shipments.
Receive and verify incoming shipments.
Use shipping systems, computers, and handheld scanners to process and track orders and inventory.
Monitor inventory and communicate replenishment needs to the Warehouse Manager.
Troubleshoot shipping and inventory issues and escalate them when needed.
Work with Packaging and other warehouse teams to keep customer orders moving.
Assist with onboarding and training new employees.
Support inventory counts and maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
Participate in company safety initiatives and the Safety Committee as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
