Team Lead, Proposal Support (Casual)

Amentum•Chantilly, VA

About The Position

Amentum is seeking experienced Defense Intelligence leaders to support its proposal for SIA 3, which provides all-source analysis, collection, targeting, and analytic enablement across DIA regional and functional mission centers. During the proposal phase, the selected candidate will help shape the technical and management approach for an assigned mission center. If the contract is awarded, the candidate may be proposed for a Team Lead role, but this casual position does not guarantee a post-award role. Any post-award appointment depends on contract award, customer approval, and a separate offer. As a Team Lead after award, the role would lead the contractor workforce in an assigned DIA mission center, serve as the primary point of contact for center leadership, oversee analytic quality and production, manage staffing and performance, mentor analysts, and coordinate with program leadership and discipline leads to align personnel with mission needs. This casual proposal-support position is scheduled for up to 20 hours per week. Before starting, the employee must sign a RIIA-2-specific nondisclosure agreement and Amentum proprietary information agreement, and complete the required conflict-of-interest certification. Former federal employees must complete a post-government employment review, including an ethics opinion where required. Clearance verification is required before starting. The position is designated safety sensitive and is subject to Amentum’s drug and alcohol policies and successful completion of drug screening, which may include screening for marijuana and other federally controlled substances.
