Team Lead, Proposal Support (Casual)

Amentum•Chantilly, VA
•$85 - $100

About The Position

Amentum is seeking experienced Defense Intelligence leaders to support its proposal under SIA 3. SIA-3 provides all-source analysis, collection, targeting, and analytic enablement across DIA regional and functional mission centers. During the proposal phase, the selected candidate will help shape the technical and management approach and may be proposed to serve as a Team Lead for a DIA mission center if Amentum is awarded the contract. After award, the Team Lead would lead the contractor workforce in an assigned DIA mission center; serve as the primary point of contact for center leadership; oversee analytic quality and production; manage staffing and performance; mentor analysts; and coordinate with program leadership and discipline leads to move personnel where mission needs require. This casual proposal-support position does not guarantee a post-award role. Any post-award Team Lead role depends on contract award, customer approval, and a separate offer. The proposal-phase work includes writing and reviewing technical and management content for an assigned mission center, drawing on direct knowledge of DIA mission, customers, and operations. The position is scheduled for up to 20 hours per week and is designated safety sensitive. Employment is contingent on successful drug screening and compliance with company drug and alcohol policies. Before starting, the employee must sign specified nondisclosure and proprietary information agreements, complete conflict-of-interest certification, and undergo clearance verification. Former federal employees must complete a post-government employment review, including an ethics opinion where required.
