About The Position

The Team Lead Nutrition Services follows the direction of Nutrition Services leadership and oversees day-to-day operations. This role can open or close operations and run shifts in the absence of leadership. Assignments may include Diet Office leadership, production, cashiering, or other key positions. The Team Lead assists with analytics, data entry, patient diets, inventory management, production waste, and portion control. The role prepares schedules, ensures staffing levels meet demand, and helps maintain timely service, product quality, safety, and sanitation standards. It also involves training and coaching staff, working stations and filling in as needed, handling customer complaints, delegating duties, making decisions, communicating effectively, and enforcing policies and procedures. The Team Lead ensures food requisitions and catering orders are delivered and assists retail, clinical, and production areas as needed. The position requires computer literacy and the ability to handle cash.

Requirements

• Computer literacy.
• Food Handlers Permit.
• Applicable experience: less than 1 year.

Responsibilities
