About The Position

Follows direction from Nutrition Services leadership and oversees day-to-day operations. The role may involve leadership of the Diet Office, production, cashiering, or other key positions. The Team Lead assists with analytics, data entry, patient diets, inventory management, production waste, and portion control; prepares schedules and ensures staffing meets operational demands. The position also supports retail, clinical, and production areas as needed.

Requirements

• Computer literacy.
• Food Handler's Permit.
• Applicable experience: less than 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Open or close operations and run shifts in the absence of leadership.
• Oversee the execution of day-to-day operations.
• Assist with analytics and data entry, patient diets, inventory management, production waste, and portion control.
• Prepare schedules and ensure staffing levels meet demands.
• Ensure timely service, product quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
• Train and coach staff.
• Work stations and fill in for staff as needed.
• Handle customer complaints.
• Delegate duties as needed, make decisions, and communicate effectively.
• Ensure food requisitions and caterings are delivered.
• Assist retail, clinical, and production areas as needed.
• Handle cash.
• Enforce policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive attitude and interact professionally.
