About The Position

The Team Lead supports children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth while leading classroom management and curriculum implementation. Classroom instruction makes up at least 50% of the weekly schedule. The role also communicates with families, helps manage and mentor new hires and fellow teachers, and creates interactive learning experiences for preschool children.

The Team Lead may take on Director or Assistant Director duties in their absence, including opening and closing the school. They ensure the daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Nice To Haves

• College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
