About The Position

This is a Lead Teacher position at La Petite Academy on Lake Powell Road. The teacher inspires children to become lifelong learners by creating fun, interactive learning experiences and mentoring fellow Teachers. The role promotes preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth; leads classroom management and curriculum implementation; and ensures familiarity with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Be energetic, dependable, and passionate.

Responsibilities
