About The Position

The Team Lead promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, and spends at least 50% of the weekly schedule on classroom instruction. The role communicates and builds relationships with families to support children's achievement and the center's success. The Team Lead is responsible for or assists with managing, training, and mentoring new hires and fellow Teachers, and helps create interactive learning experiences for preschool children. In the Director's or Assistant Director's absence, the Team Lead takes on their duties, including opening and closing the school. The position ensures every child's daily care follows licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Nice To Haves

• College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a Child Development Associate (CDA).
