About The Position

As a Team Leader - Keyholder, you support store leadership in achieving sales goals by working alongside store associates and providing daily direction, communication, and training. You motivate the team to deliver an excellent shopping experience and build brand loyalty through every customer interaction. You serve as a Vera Bradley brand ambassador, modeling and upholding the company’s core values.

The role includes driving sales, leading and inspiring people, recommending products to meet customers’ needs, supporting merchandising and store operations, and maintaining an organized and inviting store environment. The position is incentive eligible based on achievement of company and store metrics. The stated base pay range is $13.51–$20.24, with a starting pay of $17.00; individual pay depends on work location.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Retail experience and/or prior management experience.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to meet the role’s physical demands, including constant walking and standing; frequent bending, stooping, and reaching; and lifting 10–35 lbs. consistently and up to 55 lbs. occasionally, with the ability to push or pull more than 55 lbs.
• Strong sensory skills, including good eyesight and hearing, and dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to exceed sales goals, drive store traffic, convert customers, execute community and customer outreach, promote campaigns, build brand awareness, and develop lasting customer relationships.
• Motivate and inspire the team by modeling Vera Bradley’s core values.
• Recommend products suited to each customer’s needs and drive store results through add-on selling and customer outreach.
• Execute and improve daily operational procedures, support visual standards, and maintain an organized and inviting store environment.
• Uphold company policies and procedures and demonstrate reliability and integrity.
• Support store opening, closing, and peak business needs.
