About The Position

Gemini is looking for a motivated and dependable Team Lead I to support daily building operations, provide leadership to team members, and help drive productivity, quality, and safety. Wage Range: $23.02-$30.79 Location: Decorah, IA Type: Full Time, 2nd Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift Hours: 2:30 pm - 11:00pm - Monday - Friday Overtime is scheduled as needed. PURPOSE STATEMENT To support the goals and vision of Gemini, Inc. through leading and optimizing daily production activities to ensure the achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. This role involves coordinating staffing and scheduling, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing corrective actions to maintain optimal performance. The Team Lead will cultivate leadership within the team, foster a collaborative environment, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. By effectively communicating across departments and making informed decisions, the Team Lead contributes to the overall success and profitability of the organization.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in leading and facilitating team meetings, providing updates, and fostering collaboration.
  • Experience leading projects intended to engage and empower team members.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 or more years’ experience in production environment preferred.
  • Technical understanding of processes in the scope of the lead position preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production requirements, including safety, quality, delivery, and cost, in collaboration with other leads and supervisors.
  • Collaborate with team members to assist in coordinating staffing needs, managing schedules, and determining overtime requirements.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
  • Champion a customer-first approach by aligning production goals with customer expectations, ensuring high-quality output and on-time delivery that consistently exceeds customer satisfaction benchmarks.
  • Demonstrate self-awareness and articulate personal strengths and areas for growth, aligning with leadership perspectives to inspire and guide the team.
  • Identify and nurture potential leaders within the team, creating a multiplier effect that enhances overall team performance.
