About The Position

Public Cloud Group (PCG) is seeking an experienced Team Lead Azure Delivery for the DACH region to support its growth. This role offers a leadership position with significant creative freedom, combining disciplinary responsibility with active technical consulting. The successful candidate will foster team motivation, proactively manage workload, and guide clients in the mid-market and enterprise sectors. Collaboration will be close with the Azure Squad, Cloud Management, clients, and their decision-makers to successfully realize innovative cloud projects.

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, including 1-2 years in disciplinary or technical team leadership and project portfolio management in the IT services sector.
  • 2-3 years of practical experience in the Azure environment with a good understanding of modern cloud architectures, migration scenarios, and operating models. General, deep understanding of another hyperscaler is also welcome.
  • Demonstrable experience in resource planning, forecast management, and monitoring of project budgets and risks.
  • Confident stakeholder management, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical topics understandably to both the team and C-level executives.
  • Results-oriented with a passion for collaboration within a diverse team.
  • Negotiation-level German and English language skills.

Responsibilities

  • Disciplinary and technical leadership, as well as mentoring of an agile Azure Squad of 5-8 employees, fostering their individual development.
  • Strategic resource and capacity planning, as well as workload management within the squad to ensure excellent project delivery.
  • Leading challenging Azure Cloud projects in terms of time, budget, and quality, acting as a confident interface between clients, management, and technical teams.
  • Active consulting and architecture in projects, understanding modern cloud architectures, and aligning technical and functional requirements.
  • Supporting presales activities and project initiation, and confidently moderating workshops and management meetings.
