Team Coordinator - Joint Packs (1st Shift)

Vertiv•Anderson, SC
•Onsite

About The Position

The Team Coordinator assists the supervisor in operating an area of a department, allowing the supervisor to focus more on people and less on daily workflow issues. The role supports continuous production flow by relieving bottlenecks, filling in for positions as needed, identifying shortages of parts or resources, finding or escalating solutions, and facilitating Lean Manufacturing processes. The coordinator may request non-personnel assistance from other departments through work orders and requests for engineering and SFA assistance. Other reasonable manufacturing duties may be assigned. The position primarily performs Team Coordinator tasks in an assigned department and may also be used in other departments at the Anderson facilities. The role requires communicating workflow, part, and resource issues to supervisors, engineers, and managers as appropriate, and effectively directing others, fostering teamwork, and resolving conflict. The work takes place in a manufacturing environment. The employee may encounter temperatures occasionally above 100 degrees or below 32 degrees, moderate to high noise in production areas, outdoor weather conditions as business needs require, and welding arcs, sparks, heat, and airborne particulates in designated areas. Travel may be required depending on product-line needs, estimated at 10%.
