About The Position

Janitronics Facility Services is hiring a part-time Team Cleaning Specialist to help maintain a clean and healthy work environment for employees and customers. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and the position pays $16.50 per hour. The role reports to Kelli Neal and is a second-shift position. Travel is not required.

The specialist cleans assigned areas, handles floor care and trash, replenishes supplies, follows safety and company procedures, and communicates supply, repair, safety, and maintenance needs to a supervisor. The role requires attention to detail, dependability, respectful teamwork, customer service, and the ability to perform physical cleaning tasks, including lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds. Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Ability to follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment.
• Good organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to traverse the work site and transport equipment used for job functions.
• Ability to reach areas below waist level and above the head.
• Ability to observe and inspect work areas for opportunities and concerns.
• Ability to transport up to 50 pounds through the work site as needed.
• Ability to handle exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and other potential irritants.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors as needed.
• Replenish and restock supplies as needed.
• Collect and dispose of trash in receptacles in assigned areas.
• Follow company policies, established procedures, and safety and security programs.
• Maintain productivity at or above company standards with minimal supervision.
