About The Position

Janitronics Facility Services is hiring a part-time Team Cleaning Specialist to help maintain a clean and healthy work environment for employees and customers. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at $17 per hour. The role involves cleaning assigned areas, replenishing supplies, disposing of waste, following safety and company procedures, communicating workplace needs, and providing courteous customer service. The specialist works with minimal supervision and may perform other duties as assigned. Safety and chemical-use training follows guidelines provided by OSHA and the CDC. The position reports to Ryan Rokosz; travel is not required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment.
• Ability to traverse the work site and transport equipment used for job functions.
• Ability to reach areas below waist level and above the head.
• Ability to detect, observe, and inspect work areas for opportunities and concerns.
• Ability to transport up to 50 pounds through the work site as needed.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and other potential irritants.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Attention to detail, dependability, integrity, flexibility, effective communication, customer-service orientation, and ability to work cooperatively as a team player.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively in English, including knowledge of English vocabulary, spelling, composition, and grammar.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors as needed.
• Resupply and restock supplies as needed.
• Collect and dispose of trash in receptacles in assigned areas.
• Follow company policies, established procedures, safety standards, and security programs.
• Maintain productivity at or above company standards with minimal supervision.
• Treat coworkers fairly and respectfully.
• Communicate with the supervisor and other employees.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Report needed supplies, repairs, safety concerns, and maintenance work to the supervisor.
• Maintain the quality of assigned duties and responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
