About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for MATH 1P11 Linear Algebra I for the Fall D2 term. This position is part of CUPE4207-1 (Employee Group) and involves compensation based on qualifications, with rates effective September 1, 2026. The duties include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time such as preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration. Requirements
- Achieved a minimum of 80% in the course
- At least third- or fourth-year students currently enrolled in an MATH DEGREE, or who have completed an MATH DEGREE or equivalent
- Effective communication skills including the ability to explain subject material to students
- Punctual in attending classes
- Able to meet appropriate deadlines
