About The Position

This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for a Teaching Assistant for MATH 1P07 Applied Calculus I For Engineers for the Fall D2-1 term. Teaching Assistant, Course Coordinator and Lab Demonstrator positions are paid according to the qualifications that the employee holds. Employees who do NOT hold a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree will be paid the undergraduate rate - $23.30 per hour. Employees who hold a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree will be paid the graduate rate - $36.67 per hour. In cases where additional duties are required as part of a Teaching Assistant’s duties, these hours shall be compensated at the appropriate Teaching Assistant rate. Requirements

  • Applicants must have achieved a minimum of 80% in the course
  • Applicants must be at least third- or fourth-year students currently enrolled in an MATH DEGREE, or who have completed an MATH DEGREE or equivalent
  • The successful applicant must have effective communication skills
