About The Position
Brock University is seeking to fill an existing vacancy for a Teaching Assistant in the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group for the course LABR 2Q96 in the Fall D2 term. This position involves scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time, including preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration. The role is governed by Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement. Requirements
- Achieved a minimum of 80% in the course
- At least third- or fourth-year students currently enrolled in an LABR DEGREE, or who have completed an LABR DEGREE or equivalent
- Effective communication skills including the ability to explain subject material to students
- Punctual in attending classes
- Able to meet appropriate deadlines
