About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the LABR 3P06 course during the Fall D2 term. This position is within the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The role involves scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom duties such as preparing seminar material, student consultation, marking, grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration. The course may be delivered virtually online and/or face-to-face, and the Teaching Assistant must be prepared for either format. Requirements
- Completed four-year honours degree in Labour Studies or equivalent
- A major average of at least 80% or better
- Ability to perform the various duties of the position (experience as a Teaching Assistant, relevant work experience and/or academic recommendation)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to deliver course material virtually online and/or face to face
