About The Position

Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the course LABR 3P13, The Politics of Labour Compensation, for the Fall D2 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 employee group. The duties will involve scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time, including preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration. Requirements

  • Achieved a minimum of 80% in the course
  • At least third- or fourth-year students currently enrolled in a LABR DEGREE, or who have completed an LABR DEGREE or equivalent
  • Effective communication skills including the ability to explain subject material to students
  • Punctual in attending classes
  • Able to meet appropriate deadlines
