This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for a Teaching Assistant (TA) for the PSYC 4P92 History of Psychology course for the Winter D3-1 term. The nominal workload for this position is either 120 or 180 hours per half credit course appointment. Ordinarily, TAs will lead either 2 seminars (120-hour appointment) or 3 seminars (180-hour appointment). Duties and responsibilities are in accordance with Article 22 of the Collective Agreement and may include attending lectures and TA meetings, preparing seminar materials, proctoring and grading assignments, tests, and examinations with timely and constructive feedback, holding office hours, answering student emails, maintaining accurate records, assisting students with course material difficulties, and other related duties assigned by the Instructor. The position requires the ability to present material and conduct seminars remotely, maintain contact with the instructor, fellow TAs, and students via email and audio-video conferencing/in-person meetings, and be available for on-campus activities during scheduled seminar times.
