Brock University is seeking to fill an existing vacancy for a Teaching Assistant in HLSC 3P91 for the Winter D3 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. Compensation for Teaching Assistant positions is based on the employee's qualifications, with different hourly rates for those holding an undergraduate degree versus those with a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree. Additional duties beyond the standard TA role will be compensated at the appropriate Teaching Assistant rate. The duties and responsibilities are in accordance with Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement, and include scheduled contact time with students, preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration.
