Teaching Assistant EDUC 4P19 Fall D2 S1
About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the EDUC 4P19 course during the Fall D2 S1 academic term. This position is within the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The role involves scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time, including preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration. Compensation is based on qualifications, with an undergraduate rate of $23.30 per hour and a graduate rate of $36.67 per hour (effective September 1, 2026). Additional duties will be compensated at the appropriate Teaching Assistant rate. Requirements
- Honours BA or Honours BSc
- B.Ed (P/J, J/I, I/S)
- Previous successful classroom teaching experience (K-12 classroom setting)
- Background in classroom assessment and curriculum design
- Successfully completed EDUC 4P17, EDUC 4P18 or EDUC 4P19
