Teaching Assistant EDUC 4P46 Fall D2
About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for EDUC 4P46 for the Fall D2 term. This position is within the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group and focuses on Mental Health and Wellness. Compensation is based on qualifications, with an undergraduate rate of $23.30 per hour and a graduate rate of $36.67 per hour (effective September 1, 2026). Additional duties will be compensated at the appropriate Teaching Assistant rate. The duties and responsibilities are in accordance with Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement, and include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time such as preparation, consultation, marking, proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration.
Requirements
- Honours BA or Honours BSc in Psychology
- Experience working with populations who have mental health challenges
- Knowledge of prevention strategies and interventions designed to promote mental health and wellness
- Theoretical knowledge of various approaches to mental health and wellness
- Successfully completed EDUC 4P46
