Teaching Assistant EDUC 2P60 Fall D2
About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the EDUC 2P60 course for the Fall D2 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. Compensation for Teaching Assistants is based on qualifications, with rates effective September 1, 2026: $23.30 per hour for those without a 4-year honours degree or 3-year pass degree, and $36.67 per hour for those with such degrees. Additional duties will be compensated at the appropriate Teaching Assistant rate. The duties and responsibilities are in accordance with Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement, and include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time such as preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration.
Requirements
- Honours BA or Honours BSc
- Successfully completed EDUC 2P60
- Previous successful teaching experience at the postsecondary level
- Experience developing and implementing collaborative initiatives between educational institutions and communities
