About The Position

Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the KINE 2P09 course during the Spring D3 term. This position is within the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The compensation for Teaching Assistant, Course Coordinator, and Lab Demonstrator positions is based on the employee's qualifications, with different rates for those holding a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree compared to those who do not. Additional duties will be compensated at the appropriate Teaching Assistant rate. The duties and responsibilities are in accordance with Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement and include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time such as preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration. Requirements

  • Must have obtained a degree in Kinesiology or equivalent
  • Must be enrolled in a Kinesiology graduate program
  • Must have experience with or knowledge of the course material
